Capital invested alongside Horsman Holdings.

The Foundation's corpus is deployed across the same alternative investment portfolio operated by Horsman Holdings, the Horsman family office. The result is a charitable balance sheet sourced and underwritten by two career-long alternative investors.

Patrick has spent more than two decades sourcing alternative investment strategies that hold a sustainable competitive advantage. Russ has run the Horsman family office portfolio since 2008. Together they have built a network and a process that the Foundation now benefits from directly.

The Foundation's corpus is invested alongside the family office across the same set of strategies. That structure gives the Foundation institutional-grade access to opportunities a small charitable balance sheet would not normally see, and it aligns the Foundation's interests with the family office's: both sides are invested in the same things, on the same terms, with the same long horizon.

Strategies the Foundation participates in.

i.
Hedge Funds

Event-driven & niche strategies

Litigation finance, market-neutral, and uncorrelated strategies. Patrick co-founded Merion Investment Management in 2009, a litigation finance fund that reached approximately $1.2 billion in peak AUM and remains the playbook for the Foundation's hedge fund participation.

ii.
Private Equity

Pre-IPO growth equity

Late-stage private positions in category-defining businesses approaching public-market liquidity, sourced through Patrick's institutional network and Esoteric Strategies, his pre-IPO growth equity fund.

iii.
Real Estate

Industrial, self-storage, data centers

Institutional real estate development across the Western US through Crimson Canyon, the real estate platform Patrick co-founded in 2021 with approximately 500,000 square feet under development and a pipeline approaching 2 million.

iv.
Digital Assets

BNB Plus & ecosystem yield

Public-company digital asset treasury participation and native yield strategies in the Binance ecosystem, anchored by Patrick's role as CIO of BNB Plus Corp. (Nasdaq: BNBX).

v.
Agriculture

US farmland & water infrastructure

Approximately 17,000 acres of US farmland developed by Integrated Ag across Arizona and California, with a specialty in water infrastructure and sub-surface drip irrigation.

vi.
Litigation Finance

Event-driven legal claims

A core focus area for Patrick since 2009, structured through specialist managers and direct positions, with diligence informed by Merion's playbook.

vii.
Insurance

Specialty & reinsurance exposure

Insurance-linked strategies sourced through the family office's institutional relationships, providing a return stream uncorrelated to broader markets.

viii.
Brands & IP

Hidden assets & recovery

Exposure through Cashmere Capital, the private equity firm Patrick co-founded focused on the development of brands, intellectual property, and intangible assets.

ix.
Disruptive Tech

Niche technology positions

Selective venture and growth-stage technology positions sourced through Horsman Holdings' family office network, with a preference for category-defining businesses.

Source
The Foundation

Charitable corpus seeded by the founder, designed to compound long-term.

Operator
Horsman Holdings

Sources, underwrites, and operates the same alternative portfolio for both.

Outcome
Awards & Education

Investment returns are redeployed into scholarships and education partnerships.

A long horizon, by structure.

The Foundation is a perpetual vehicle, which makes it an ideal investor in the long-duration, niche, and capacity-constrained strategies the trustees know best. The structure rewards patience: capital that compounds for decades inside a tax-advantaged charitable vehicle, generating awards every cycle without depleting the corpus.

Capital with a purpose.
